On May 12, Schneps Media, presented by Catholic Health, hosted an event honoring Healthcare Heroes, lauding Â鶹´«Ã½ President and CEO, Gary G. Terrinoni, as one of the honorees. The event took place on at 6 PM at Terrace on the Park in Queens.

During his tenure, Mr. Terrinoni has overseen important initiatives, some of which include: significant improvements in quality standards, implementing a Center for Critical Care Services (which was instrumental in Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s response to the 2020 COVID-19 surge), the opening of the Physicians Pavilion and the ongoing renovation of the Emergency Department.

Mr. Terrinoni was also featured as a guest on the Schneps Connects podcast, where he spoke about how to ensure that safety net hospitals serving diverse communities, like Â鶹´«Ã½, prepare for any further crises, what he thinks needs to be done to improve healthcare reimbursements at NY hospitals and how Â鶹´«Ã½ honors its more-than-175 years’ history.
